Dokumentdatum: 0-Representations of crosses raised on an ornamental base and decorated with floral motifs or with interlaced bands are usually found in the margins of Armenian manuscripts, full-page crosses occurring only in the earliest known books (ninth and tenth centuries). Such crosses form a prominent feature of the art of Eastern Christendom, especially of Syrian art. In many cases the ornamental and compositional treatment of the crosses is evocative of Armenian khatchkars.ï¿½Representationer av kors uppresta av utsmyckade baser och dekorerade med blommotiv eller med inflätade band hittas vanligen i marginalerna hos armeniska mauskript, medan helsidiga kors förekommer endast i de tidiga kända böckerna (800- och 900-talen). Liknande kors formar ett framstående drag hos den österländska Kristendomens konst, speciellt den syrianska. i många fall påminner utsmyckningen och kompositionen hos korsen det som återfinns hos armeniska khatchkar.-1201ï¿½

Dokumentdatum: 0-The treatment of the khoran is somewhat unusual. The space within the framework, instead of containing the text of the letter of Eusebius or the Canon tables, is filled with an ornamental pattern of crescent-shaped, pointed and swirling leaves. The pattern is similar to those used in the Moush Homilarium and in the 1201 Gospels and is also evocative of the wall reliefs in the monastery of Airivank where the manuscript was produced.ï¿½Behandlingen av khoranen är något ovanligt. Utrymmet mellan ramverket, istället för att omfatta texten hos brevet från Eusebius eller texten för kanonskriften, är fylld med ett utsmyckningsmönster av halvmånsformade, spetsiga och virvlande löv.
